Memory Drop Targets
A Solid State era enhancement to the Drop Targets mechanism in which the game’s CPU remembers which targets a player has knocked down between turns. On a standard drop target bank, all targets reset when the player’s turn ends; with memory drop targets, progress carries over from ball to ball, allowing the player to complete a bank incrementally across multiple turns. This feature softened the penalty of draining before finishing a target sequence and rewarded persistent, strategic play across the entire game rather than demanding bank completion within a single ball.
