Swinging Clown Target

A type of Swinging Targets shaped like a clown figure, combining the timing challenge of a moving target with carnival-themed playfield decoration. The clown swings back and forth across the player’s line of fire, requiring a well-timed shot to connect. Genco’s Big Top Rifle Gallery (1954) featured a swinging clown target as part of its carnival shooting-gallery theme, alongside Moving Ducks and Candle Targets — a full complement of midway-inspired mechanisms that turned the playfield into a miniature fairground attraction.
