Uncommon among major American manufacturers, the eight-bank was favored by European and South American builders, particularly Zaccaria and Recel. IPDB catalogs approximately 10 machines with this arrangement, none with large production runs. The eight-target row created a wide, imposing bank across the playfield, demanding the player clear nearly twice as many targets as a standard four- or five-bank to complete the sequence.
