Recel
Overview
Recel was a Spanish pinball manufacturer active during the late Electromechanical and early Solid State transition period. Like several of its contemporaries in Spain — a country with a surprisingly robust domestic pinball industry — Recel produced machines that circulated primarily through European distribution channels, often unknown to collectors outside the continent.
Recel’s catalog reflects the aesthetic and technical sensibility of European manufacturers of the era: bold graphics, direct gameplay, and a development trajectory that tracked the American Solid State transition while maintaining a distinctly regional character.
