Upper Right Kicker Lanes

Upper right kicker lanes are Right Kicker Lanes placed high on the playfield, where the kicker drives a ball that has climbed the right flank onward into the upper field.

The lane is rarely the whole mechanism. On Big Hunt (1976, A.M.I.) a spring-loaded diverter above it sorts the traffic, letting balls arriving from the spinning target drop to the kicker while sending balls the kicker has just launched away towards the pop bumpers.[1] The fitting is a late-Electromechanical and early solid-state one, used by INDER, Zaccaria, Williams and Playmatic between the middle 1970s and the middle 1980s.
