Spinning Bumpers
A motorized Bumpers that rotates continuously around a vertical axis throughout game play, spinning in a single direction. One common design stretches a rubber ring around three posts arranged in a triangular pattern, creating a whirling obstacle that deflects the ball unpredictably as it passes. Unlike Pop Bumpers, which fire a solenoid on contact, spinning bumpers rely on constant rotational motion to redirect the ball — the angle of deflection depends on the precise moment the ball strikes the spinning ring. The mechanism adds a kinetic, visual element to the playfield that few other devices match.
