Right Ball Return Rollunders

Right ball return rollunders are Rollunders doing a gate’s work on the right of the playfield: the U-shaped wireform hangs in the ball’s return path, swings up as the ball passes beneath it and closes a switch on the way.[1]

The appeal is that one part does two jobs. A plain Ball Return Gates only keeps the ball moving the right way, and a Rollovers switch only scores; a rollunder in a return lane scores the passage and holds the one-way discipline at the same time,[2] and it fits where a narrow rollover channel will not.[3]
