Left Kicker Lanes

Left kicker lanes are Kicker Lanes on the left side of the playfield: a channel with a solenoid Kickers in it that strikes the ball as it passes and sends it on with more speed than it arrived with.

The difference from a Left Kickback Lanes is direction. A kickback lane sends the ball back the way it came; a kicker lane keeps it going, and exists to move the ball from one part of the playfield to another. Bally was the heaviest user, from 3 in LINE (1935) through Nip-It (1973) and Future Spa (1979), and Spanish and Italian makers took the fitting up in the same years.
