Kicker Lanes
A lane on the playfield that contains a Kickers mechanism, delivering a solenoid-powered kick to the ball as it passes through. The lane channels the ball along a defined path while the kicker adds energy and speed, propelling it forward or redirecting it toward a specific playfield region. Kicker lanes combine the guided trajectory of a lane with the forceful boost of a kicker, giving designers a tool for moving the ball quickly from one area to another. They appear across multiple eras of pinball design, serving as transition paths that keep the ball moving with purpose and momentum.
