Flex-Save Lanes
A ball-saving feature in which each outlane has a flexible, movable metal wall that the player can physically influence by nudging the machine. When the ball enters an outlane, a well-timed nudge flexes the wall enough to redirect the ball back toward the Flippers instead of letting it drain. Flex-save lanes reward skilled nudging — the player who knows when and how hard to push the cabinet gains a legitimate, designed-in second chance. The feature occupies a middle ground between passive outlane design and powered mechanisms like Kickback or Ball Save, relying on the player’s physical interaction with the machine rather than solenoids or software timers.
