Black Gold

Black Gold was BEM’s small-head (“testa piccola”) restyling of the Milan firm’s own earlier Arabic Power.^[1] That parent game was itself no original title but a conversion kit laid over an unidentified Gottlieb machine, reportedly BEM’s own work — leaving Black Gold a rebuild of a rebuild, two steps removed from the American table underneath.^[2]
