Introduced around 1979, Williams System 6 used the Motorola 6808 CPU and added support for background sound effects and more complex game rules. Notable games include Firepower (1980), one of the first multi-ball pinball machines with lane-change features, and Black Knight (1980), featuring a two-level playfield with Magna-Save.
