- IPDB Bally documentation indicates Model 204 had a release (to production) date of 12-2-37. There are three different playfields shown for this game. One is a wood surface with painted artwork, the others are metal surfaces with no artwork. The four numbers represented in the backglass are lanes on the wood surfaced game, and either one or two sets of numbered bumpers on the metal surfaced game. If anyone has more information on these games please share that with us. When submitting your pictures of this game, indicate if your playfield is wood or metal and include the cabinet measurements, length and width. The Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad's (CB&Q) revolutionary (1934) Pioneer Zephyr was one of the first stainless steel "streamliner" passenger trains, and was pulled by one of the first diesel-electric locomotives; on May 26, 1934 it set a speed record for travel time between Denver, Colorado, and Chicago, Illinois, covering the distance at an average speed of 77 mph and reaching top speeds just short of the then-US land speed record of 115 mph. The historic dash inspired two films and the train's nickname, "Silver Streak". It is currently on display at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.
