    ipdb.notes
This game is identical to Automatic Industries, Incorporated's 1931 'Whiffle Board'. In fact, the Billboard ad shown here shows advertising space shared by two different companies with street addresses making them next-door neighbors. One company sells the Whiffle Board pin table. The Yankee game looks like only the paper apron was changed. Based on this, the ten marbles seen on the Yankee playfield would be the same as those used on the Whiffle Board. Specifically, they would be agate marbles about 1/2 inch in diameter, nine white and one red, the red marble counting double.
