ipdb.notes
IPDB This game is not a payout machine. The manufacturer's flyer (not shown here) references a "magnetic field" but we do not know if and where magnets exist on this game. The backglass is very similar to Treff Automaten's 'Treff-Gloria (water skier)' although their playfields are very different in layout and number of flippers. Both backglasses show a woman water skiing on a wide ski board, being pulled by an unseen motorboat. A populated beach is in the background. The game presented in this listing inexplicably has a schematic diagram attached to its backbox door marked "Shaltplan - Treff-Gloria" which, as we indicated, has a very different playfield. The name of this game does not appear on the backglass. The manufacturer spells it with a hyphen as "Treff-Nixe" in their flyers and ads while the playfield apron indicates "Treff Nixe" without the hyphen. We list this game by what is on the machine itself which is the way it is mostly likely to be seen. We previously showed a date for this game of February 1954 but we have no confirmation of that date. used
