    ipdb.notes
Artist Marc Raneses told us that Morgan Weistling did the backglass and playfield art. Marc did the screen print production for the playfield. He said this was around the time he left Sega Pinball so he didnt do much on this game. Pictured in this listing is one of the twelve games co-branded with Nieman Marcus. In an online discussion in 1997 with Orin Day, someone asked him about the price of $6,500 for this edition, heard on a TV show. Orin replied there:That price is for the "Collector's Edition" of The X-Files pinball, available only through the Neiman Marcus Christmas Catalog. Each one comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the design team and special software stating the "serial number" (i.e. 1 of 12, 2 of 12, etc.). Neiman Marcus sold a "Collector's Edition" of Sega's Star Wars Trilogy game in their Fall catalog.
