- In a descriptive full page text ad appearing in Automatic Age, Jun 1936, page 26, the manufacturer writes that the cabinet is "made of Avodire wood - imported from Africa - and inlaid with exquisite Tiamo, also an African importation." Avodire is pale yellow or cream in color. Tiamo, or Tiama, has a reddish-brown color. Both trees are from Central and West Africa.
