ipdb.notes
IPDB Although 'Stellar Wars' appears to be the last game in the System 4 series, at least one example has been identified having a System 6 MPU along with original schematics for System 6. See the Files section for Manual Amendment 490-2 addressing these games and showing the CPU Board schematic for them. Included in this listing are pictures of original playfield artwork. Artist Constantino Mitchell tells us about it:The playfield is ink and Rubylith marker on Mylar film. Rubylith marker (red) prints black. I would send that piece of artwork to film house to make one Negative film and one Positive film. Youll notice the registration marks on the corners. Jeanine would cut each color from Rubylith film and each film would have those registration marks on them. The screen printer would match the registration marks of each color to the Black. Black would be printed last to make the complete artwork. Manufacturer data for Stellar Wars: Production Start Date: Mar-30-1979 Production End Date: Jan-18-1980 Quantity produced for USA/Canada: 3474* Quantity produced for export: 2029* Total quantity produced: 5503* Price to Distributor: $1395.00 *These quantities may be sales estimates. used
