While the actual production playfield for Amber is not identical to 'Smarty', it's playfield drawing is inexplicably even less similar. The first flipper game by Williams was Williams' 1947 'Sunny' in December 1947. Operators of this period would soon retrofit flipperless games, like Smarty, and these new flippers often ended up in unusual places on the playfield. used
