ipdb.notes
IPDB We present in this listing the three examples of this game known to us. The record players inside the three backboxes appear to represent two different models made by "Collaro", a British company in business from 1920 into the 1960's. We don't know when these pin games were made but the metal playfields with spring bumpers would place them in the late 1930s. The group picture shown here presents all three games side by side, under common ownership. We assign them, from left to right, as Game #1, #2, and #3 in order to display individual images of each. Games #1 and #2 were obtained around the mid-1980s from the owner of a working museum on the end of the Palace Pier in Brighton, UK when the museum building was going to be demolished. Game #3 was acquired in 2019 from a UK collector after he had performed an unspecified amount of renovation to it. Two games have cards attached to the inside of their coin doors that may have information on them. Coil wrappers may have printing on them. The record players may have model numbers visible. The owner will be providing additional photos, including close-ups of areas of possible identification. If anyone has information about these games, please contact us. used
