The manufacturer announced this game in Cash Box, Nov-13-1976, page 29 and stated it would be on display at the MOA convention in Chicago (held November 12-14) and the IAAPA convention in New Orleans (held November 19-21). However, a brief mention in Play Meter, December 1976, page 25, stated this "new solid state pinball was nowhere to be found" at the MOA convention. We find no mention either way for this game from the IAAPA convention, although the marketing director for Meadow Games called it a "very good show" (per Cash Box, Dec-10-1977, page 51). This game did appear at the Amusement Trades Exposition (ATE) in London during January 25-17, 1977, according to Game Machine, Feb-15-1977, a Japanese magazine from which we obtained our only photo, a backglass, shown here. Cash Box, Jan-29-1977, page 54 reported this game was at test locations in California. We find no further mention of this game and likely this is because it was decided to not place it into full production. Meadow Games, Inc. was primarily known for making video games. 'Sea Avenger' was their only pinball machine of which we are aware.
