ipdb.notes
IPDB Voiceovers by Justin Roiland. Another game that utilizes one or more pinballs positioned in a subway for staged retrieval is Williams' 1993 'Star Trek: The Next Generation'. Spooky Pinball advertised a total quantity of 750 games would be made of the Standard and Blood Sucker Editions in whatever individual quantities that would be determined by customer orders. They advised us in February 2021 that everyone who had ordered a game within the first two days possible received a free interactive topper with the game, and the entire run sold out in four hours so all games (will) have toppers. Of the 750 sold, 36 of the Standard Edition and 714 of the Blood Sucker Edition are being made. Factory upgrade for optional purchase: Cabinet having direct printing (instead of decals) and covered in automotive clearcoat. The manufacturer referred to this upgrade as the "Butter cabinet". Price when new: $7,520.00 used

IPDB Flippers (3), Pop bumper (1), Slingshot (1), Illuminating drop targets (2), Spinning target (1), Kick-out hole with scoop (1), Horseshoe lane (1), Diverter (1), Cellar hole (1), Captive ball (1), Magnet (1). Up-post in center of horseshoe controls which way the ball exits the horseshoe or which drop target blocks the exit to "lock" the ball. Magnet over right inlane activated by extra flipper button on right side of cabinet. The captive ball rests on a switch and against one end of a long wireform mounted to the playfield at both ends (the "flooble crank") and which extends downfield for the ball in play to hit the end facing the player, transferring the ball's momentum through the wireform to the captive ball which leaves the switch for a few milliseconds, causing a score. The portal with subway and teleporting ball effect is an illuminated larger hole (portal) in the back left of the playfield (within the house's garage). This hole is connected via a subway to a ball eject above the left flipper. A ball is staged at the bottom of this subway. When activated as part of game play, the garage has a strobe swirling lighting effect, and the ball in play is directed to the hole via a diverter. This swirling light is projected from the ceiling, onto a piece of clear plastic, creating a hovering/transparent "Pepper's ghost" effect. Immediately when entering the hole, the staged ball is ejected, making it appear that the ball has quickly teleported down the playfield. The previous ball in play is then used as the staged ball for the next time the portal is used. Purple powder coated legs, side rails, hinges, speaker panel, and lockdown bar. Side rails surround the flipper buttons. The backglass is actual tempered glass with a direct print. used
