ipdb.notes
IPDB The Treasure Chest toy replaced the Flying Dutchman ship originally planned for this game. This game has 'Generation 2' (G2) illumination as follows: Backbox has LED illumination. Backglass is injection molded clear ABS with heat transfer decal. Playfield inserts have LED illumination. Playfield bumpers have LED illumination. G2 has more lights than G1 and was proposed by the Toys "R" Us company. Zizzle had the master toy license for the Pirates of the Caribbean theme and allowed Stern Pinball, Inc. to be under their licensing agreement with Disney, allowing Stern to make their first pinball machine with this theme, Stern's 2006 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. See also Zizzle Arcade Pinball's 2006 'Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest'. used
