- The game for which we saw only a single photograph (not shown here) was located for sale in F�ves, France. It had a solid blue cabinet and square backbox with the name PIN UP in the lower left of the backglass. The side rails, lockdown bar, coin door, and legs are made of dark wood, possibly painted black. The playfield layout is very open, similar to Gottlieb's 1950 'Bank-A-Ball', although this game has no apparent kick-out holes and has a side lane in the lower half of the playfield, each created by a triangle of three posts encased with a rubber. An opening at the center of the top edge of the playfield appears to be a place to aim a ball in the turret shooter. The game also has a very long, dark blue flipper on each side of the turret opening. The backglass uses bulb scoring, up to 6 million points. The artwork shows one woman on the backglass and one woman on the playfield, each posing in a Catalina bathing suit. No manufacturer name was visible in the photograph. The coin door has a coin slide. The seller listed the game with a date of 1947 (the year USA pinball machines first used electromechanical flippers) and did not respond to our communications.
