This is the same game as Stern's 1978 'Nugent' but manufactured in Australia under license. The backglass may or may not indicate this. The cabinet and backbox are not stamped with a serial number as found on the Stern version. Instead, the back of the cabinet has a manufacturer plate from LAI with serial number. Uses the SB-100 sound board. Backglass shows singer Ted Nugent taken from the cover of his album Weekend Warriors. Service Bulletin #7A indicates this game uses the same ROMs as Stern's 1978 'Lectronamo'. Because Lectronamo used a bank of five drop targets, the left bank of three drop targets on Nugent has double switches on its outer targets. Service Bulletin #12 clarifies the correct wiring for this left-side 3-bank. The manual mistakenly refers to this 3-bank as a "5 Bank Drop Target" on page 9 for Game Adjustment 13. Manufacturer data for Nugent: Production Start Date: 11/6/78 Production End Date: 2/16/79 Quantity produced - full games: 2437 (see Stern's 1978 'Nugent') Quantity produced - knock-down games: 234 Total Quantity Produced: 2671 We are seeking hi-res images of the full backglass of this LAI version, front and back, avoiding camera flashback. If your glass has licensing information, please make a focused close-up of this text.
