    The playfield is finished in dark walnut. Cabinet is solid gumwood, finished in satin ebony and chromium trimmings. Advertised as 60 inches long and 30 inches wide. Ball composition: steel, 7/8 inch in diameter.

    The playfield can be interchanged with that of PAMCO's 1933 'Masterpiece'. According to the Encyclopedia of Pinball Vol. 1, the first games made were rough-playing. In November 1933, the problem was solved with the release of 'New Metropolitan'. The two ads shown here indicate that this game was produced in two different cabinets, with different side artwork. This change of art may have occurred when the 'New' models were introduced.
