The two Veeder counters equipped in this game likely allowed the operator to assess how many times payoff levels were achieved. A "10-year look-back" column in The Billboard Jul-17-1948 page 111, looking back to July 9, 1938, stated, "Genco Inc., introduced its much heralded Grand Slam game this week."
