The Encyclopedia of Pinball Vol 2 lists Gateway as a converted game but the source game is not identified. A seller of reconditioned games advertised Gateway in the Coin Machine Journal January 1936 page 198 as a ticket game. One example of a playfield for this game (not shown here) had a handwritten notice advising players what to do if the game failed to issue a ticket. We are seeking higher resolution images of the Score Card and Game Reset Card shown here.
