Spring bumpers (19). Sound: 2 bells.
    ipdb.notes
This was the last Genco game to be produced with spring bumpers. Subsequent games used the plastic bell-shaped bumpers. Reportedly, Genco also produced this game with plastic bumpers as seen in the image attributed to Russ Jensen. However, we have no supporting information for this assertion and, besides, that image shows a style of plastic bumpers that followed the use of bell-shaped bumpers. If Genco did use plastic bumpers on Formation, it would make more sense had they used the bell-shaped ones. We seek an explanation of what numbers appear in each of the twelve circles at the top of the backglass and when and how they light up during game play. For instance, does one circle light up at a time? Ideally, a high-resolution picture of the reverse side of the backglass would show these silkscreened numbers. Additionally, we note our several playfield images show a variety of arrangements of white (and off-white) bumper caps. We seek confirmation from a game owner as to which of the many playfield bumper(s) electrically perform as the "white bumpers" according to the Instructions so we can know which playfields have the wrong color bumpers caps for any of their bumpers.
