Flippers (4), Pop bumpers (4), Slingshots (2), Standup targets (8), Kick-out holes (2), 5-bank drop targets (1), 4-bank drop targets (1), 3-bank drop targets (1), Kicking target (1), Spinning target (1). Achieving multiball requires specific targets to be achieved in sequence. Only one extra ball per ball in play is given. 3 or 5 ball play. Tilt penalty: ball in play, all playfield lamps turn off, all accumulated bonus and bonus multipliers are lost.
    ipdb.notes
Same playfield layout as Gottlieb's 1981 'Black Hole' but without the lower level playfield. What would be the entrance to the lower level on Black Hole is a captive hole for multiball on Eclipse. Although only 193 complete games were produced, a considerable number of kits (comprising a backglass, playfield and game ROMs) were produced. These kits were usually used to convert "James Bond 007" cabinets. Steve Young told us the Bill of Materials indicated the kits are Model 671 and the full games are Model 671A. We don't know from him how many kits the BOM would indicate. The Instruction Manual in our Files section is titled "ECLIPSE GAME 671A INSTRUCTION MANUAL FIRST EDITION, Applicable to games whose serial number contains the letter 'S', Game Prom 671, Sound Proms 668A/S." Those would be the Sample games. This means another manual should exist for the regular production games which would have serial numbers not containing the letter "S". Eclipse uses the same sound PROM as the export version of Black Hole.
