- Game manufactured under license from Domino's Pizza. Concept by Adam Gacek.
Scott Gullicks did the artwork for both backglass and playfield. Blake Dumesnil did the cabinet artwork.
This games uses the Pinheck Board 2.0.
The car depicted in the backglass has a license plate number representing both the company's NYSE symbol and the year they were founded.
Charlie Emery told us that production began on this game on October 17, 2016. Adam Gacek, then the Vice President, Associate General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of Domino's Pizza, later told us that a pool hall in Buffalo, New York received the first Standard Edition machine on October 20, 2016 for a launch party.
The first 75 games in the production run were designated Limited Edition. A quantity of 60 games were to follow to be designated Standard Edition. However, one Standard Edition was produced ahead of the LE's for the launch party. We dont know if that launch game was part of the SE quantity of 60 or was a 61st game.
The SE and LE editions are exactly the same except for the backglass art and LE metal plaque.
The cabinet on this game carries the longer name "Domino's Spectacular Pinball Adventure", not found on the SE backglass.
The Limited Edition backglass was available as an upgrade to this standard model. Therefore, it is possible to see a game with the LE backglass but no LE plaque.
Manufacturer's price when new: $5,299.00 of which $800 of that amount was a charitable donation made to the Dominos Partners Foundation that helps Dominos employees around the world when they need assistance.
The board game of dominoes is played with several small tiles. The "Western style" of this game uses twenty-one tiles, each showing one of a different combination of numbers made with a roll of two six-sided dice, plus seven blank tiles.
