Testing: Mike Vinikour Models and whitewoods: Kenny Ottesen Sr. and Dave Cadieux The "ricochet target" to the immediate left of the top pop bumper and used to deflect a flipped ball up the nearby ramp is not a kick-target. Stern advertised and made a limited quantity of 500 games. Each Limited Edition game came with a serialized number plate, a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Gary Stern, and an autographed collectible signed by designer George Gomez. All LE models from the factory included a 12-inch Vinyl LP featuring 11 original music tracks with cover art by Zombie Yeti (aka Jeremy Packer). MSRP when new: $8,999.00 used
ipdb.notable_features
IPDB Flippers (2), Pop bumpers (3), Slingshots (2), Standup targets (2), Electric gates (2), Spinning targets (2), 4-bank drop targets (2), 3-bank drop targets (1). Playfield back panel illumination. Vertical up-kicker with scoop. One wireform habitrail feeds the ball to the right flipper return lane via an aerial trough designed to resemble a Japanese samurai sword. A post raises during game play to make the hollow hilt of this sword into a ball-locking device. The 3-bank drop targets when down allow ball to hit recessed target to reset these drop targets, trapping ball in recessed area. A raised ramp in shooter lane lowers to divert a ball shot into left orbit to feed to right flipper return lane. Ball shooter has auto-launch. Shaker motor. Color LCD. Completing the letters B-O-O-M in the lower playfield inlanes and outlanes (can use lane-change) lights the button to be yellow on front lockdown bar. Pressing button when yellow awards the highest lit playfield shot. Multiple completions without pressing the lockdown button will "stack" this award. Four stacked completions light the button to be red. Pressing the button when red awards all lit shots on the playfield. High-definition anti-reflection playfield glass. High-powered speaker system with 3-channel amplifier, separate treble and bass adjustments. Red illuminating speaker rings visible behind backbox speaker grilles. Playfield side wall art blades. Red powder-coated metal flake legs, side armor, hinges, and front lockdown molding. A mirrored backglass is used instead of a translite. used
