IPDB The DeLuxe model 203 has both replay and match features. The word "DE LUXE" appears on the backglass in a small size below the replay window. According to The Billboard, Apr-7-1948, page 82, a game identified as 'Shortstop' began shipping the week before. Typically, Williams added the word "Deluxe" to the name of the game as a non-trivial way to promote that it is a Replay model, to differentiate it from a non-replay version of the game. The article acknowledged that the game is "available in de luxe replay and match model, or in regular model". It also stated that the DeLuxe model has a carry-over feature of spelling out the name 'Short-Stop' on the backglass. However, the schematic for this Model 203 with replay and match was originally issued 3-27-58 and labeled as WILLIAMS SHORT-STOP, omitting the traditional replay identifier of "Deluxe". It was revised on 4-9-58 to change portions of the diagram as well as renaming the game to be WILLIAMS DELUXE SHORT-STOP. Perhaps they added the identifier to acknowledge a non-play version was in the works, as Williams' 1958 'Short-Stop (New York Model)'. Both Model 203 schematics are presented in this listing. used

IPDB Ramps (3). The ramps are unpainted metal. Spelling the name S-H-O-R-T-S-T-O-P on the backglass is a carry-over feature. used
