    ipdb.notes
An undated version of the schematic diagram for this game shows in it the circuitry for the Star Feature and, because it shows no dated revision notes, is likely an original version of the schematic which would precede the date of 11-5-54 when this game was "released to production". Another schematic was identified for this game that shows an apparent original issue date of 6-17-54 as well as two revision dates, once on 8-5-54 and again on 8-20-54, and this schematic does not have in it circuitry for the Star Feature. This schematic is not a simple edit of the other undated one because the handwriting everywhere is different from that one. This strongly suggests that 'Colors' games may exist that do not have the Star Feature. If so, we wonder if their backglasses show the three-digit replay counter required for that feature. In our Files Section is a narrative from an owner of the Star Feature version discussing, with images, his discovery of the two different schematics. If anyone has access to an example of this game that does not have the Star Feature, please contact us. We are also seeking full scans of both schematic diagrams mentioned here as well as any schematic version with its most recent revision date other than 8-20-54.
