Bally's documentation indicates 'Citation' had a release (to production) date of 2-7-49, However, we found Billboard ads as early as the issue of Oct-16-1948 from distributors offering this game for immediate delivery. An article in that issue (shown here) states Bally announced on Oct-9-1948 that this game was in full production. An article in Cash Box Oct-16-48 page 23 stated Citation and Lexington "are now in full production, and being shipped to the trade."
