- This is Not A Pinball. It is a puck bowler. It appears in some Genco documentation mixed in with pinball machines. Two different documents provide different production dates:
Production start date: 11/30/49 or 02/23/50
Production end date: 02/17/50 or 02/27/50
In a Cash Box column "Thru the Coin Chute" dated Dec-31-1949 page 26, the columnist wrote that Art Crane of Genco was visiting with a California distributor and together they were "sweating out" the first shipment of 'Bowling League'. Whatever that meant, it points towards the production start date in November 1949, not February of 1950 or later.
