- IPDB The one-ball payout version of this game is California Exhibit Company's 1936 'Big Shot (1-Ball)'. In the game pictured here, we note the lower apron once had a large instruction card and/or score card attached to its left side. The smaller score card shown here with the game was not attached to the apron and was found inside the cabinet along with two buffalo nickels. It may not be original to this game even as the point scores it displays are fitting to the values on the playfield. This smaller score card indicates replays are awarded although the game itself does not have a replay counter. The manufacturer's flyer for the payout version refers to this game as their "5-ball hand-payout model". This means the location can payout in cash. A score card would not advertise a cash payout. No coin box was in the machine and the owner reports that there is a spring device that a coin box would have depressed to make contact with batteries, possibly a tilt feature. used
