- ipdb.notes
- The flyer shown here is the only evidence we have found for this game other than its name appearing with its model number in an undated Chicago Coin Amusement Games Parts & Supplies Catalog that listed games up to year 1969.
The balls per game are referred to as "kicks" although we presume a standard flipper bat was used, as no manikin appears in the Parts & Supplies catalog.
The backglass and flyer text show "All Star" is unhyphenated and "Foot Ball" is two words.
Compare this flyer and the game itself to that of Chicago Coin's 1968 'All Stars' to suggest that "All Star Foot Ball" was made in 1968 as well.
Searches for this game in The Billboard and Cash Box for 1967-1969 came up empty.
This 2-player bat game is not to be confused with a 2-player wall game (aka "electric scoreboard") made by Chicago Coin known as "All-Star Football" and shown in another online resource as made in 1972.
If anyone has access to this game, we seek photographs of inside the game and outside, as well as manufacturer documentation such as a manual and/or schematic.
