The earliest reference we found for 'Ajax' as a converted game was in The Billboard, Apr-18-1942, page 74 where it was listed as a 'revamped' game. A much earlier reference in The Billboard, Feb-8-1941, page 79 lists 'Ajax' in a section for counter games without any revamp notation. Without further information, we lack confidence in that ad to use it to date this pin table conversion. used
