- IPDB Designer John Trudeau gives us this information: This game never made it to production. It was selected, made into a whitewood, played and approved. This single-level playfield was scheduled to be produced after Premier's 1985 'Rock' (also a single-level) as ACE HIGH (#700), a game themed to playing cards. But a funny thing happened on the way to its being manufactured... I designed Premier's 1986 'Raven' which had a "Stargate" up-down ramp and a second level for the ball to travel on. At that point in time (1985-86), RAVEN seemed to be the better product to hit the market with. ACE HIGH was put back for one model's production run and was rescheduled to go after RAVEN. Well, once ramps were put on the game, there was no going back. The next production game was Premier's 1986 'Hollywood Heat' and ACE HIGH was put on the shelf again. It was never produced. used
