WhizBang Pinball was a boutique design studio in Lake Villa, founded in 2009 by designers Greg Freres and Dennis Nordman, blending retro electro-mechanical styling with modern solid-state reliability. Best known for the art-forward “Whoa Nellie!”, it was a small, designer-led shop rather than a high-volume manufacturer.
