Game Plan
Overview
Game Plan, Inc. was a small American pinball manufacturer active from the mid-1970s through the mid-1980s. Operating out of Wood Dale, Illinois, the company produced a modest catalog of Solid State machines during a period of great technological transition in the industry.
Game Plan’s machines occupied a budget tier of the market and were generally simpler in design than contemporary offerings from Bally or Williams. Titles like Sharpshooter (1979) and Lady Sharpshooter (1980) found modest success in locations where operators sought affordable alternatives to more expensive cabinets. The company ceased operations around 1985 as the market consolidated around its larger competitors. Their machines are relatively uncommon today and hold interest among collectors pursuing a complete survey of the American Solid State era.
