Upper Right Ball Return Gates
Upper right ball return gates are Upper Ball Return Gates placed on the right of the upper playfield, the side the ball arrives on from the Shooter Lanes.
That position makes the gate the last thing a plunged ball passes before the playfield proper, and it stops the ball rolling back down the lane it was launched from.[1] Williams was the heaviest user, fitting one across a run of machines between 1965 and 1969, and Bally and Playmatic used the arrangement into the 1970s.
