Pop-Up Toys

Pop-up toys are Interactive Toys that hide beneath the playfield and rise through it when the game calls for them, turning bare playfield into a target. This overlaps with Bash Toys: the Ringmaster of Cirqus Voltaire (1997, Bally) elevates from under the playfield as an animated head the player defeats by hitting it with the pinball,^[1][2] and the two trolls of Medieval Madness (1997, Williams) stay concealed below the playfield until certain modes pop them up as targets.^[3][4]
