Pop-Up Ramps

A Ramps variant that can rise from beneath the playfield surface, appearing and disappearing during gameplay based on game logic. When retracted, the playfield area is flat and the ball rolls freely across it; when deployed, the ramp rises into position to divert the ball upward along an elevated path. This dynamic transformation of the playfield geometry creates shot opportunities that exist only at certain moments, rewarding players who recognize when the ramp is available. Jersey Jack Pinball’s Toy Story 4 (2022) featured a pop-up ramp as part of its multi-level playfield design.
