Kick-Out Saucers
A variant of the Kick-Out Holes distinguished by a shallow, saucer-shaped recess surrounding the central hole. The wide, gently inclined dish funnels the ball inward, making the capture more forgiving than a standard kick-out hole — the ball rolls down the slope toward the center rather than bouncing away on contact. Once seated, a solenoid ejects the ball back into play just as with any kick-out hole. The saucer’s broader profile gives it a visible presence on the playfield and provides designers with a target that rewards proximity, not just precision, while still delivering the satisfying pause-and-eject rhythm of a traditional kick-out.
