Horseshoe Diverters

A stationary, horseshoe-shaped Diverters that changes the direction of a ball as it enters play. Positioned near the plunger lane or shooter area, the horseshoe diverter uses its curved profile to redirect the ball’s trajectory onto a specific path based on the speed and angle of entry. Unlike solenoid-powered Diverters that actively switch between positions, the horseshoe diverter is a passive guide — its fixed geometry determines the ball’s route. The mechanism appeared on a small number of machines as a design solution for controlling ball flow from the plunger without active mechanical intervention.
