Diverter Magnets

A type of Magnets that does not stop the ball but influences its trajectory as it passes over or near the magnet’s position beneath the playfield. When energized, the electromagnet pulls the steel ball just enough to alter its speed, direction, or both — bending the ball’s path without bringing it to a halt. Unlike Stop Magnets, which grab and hold the ball, diverter magnets create a subtle, often invisible deflection that the player may not even notice until the ball arrives somewhere unexpected. The mechanism gives designers a way to introduce hidden chaos into otherwise predictable ball paths.
