Catapults

A Kickers variant that propels the ball airborne, launching it off the playfield surface and onto an elevated feature such as a Habitrails or into a score hole. The solenoid fires with enough force to send the ball on a brief aerial trajectory — a dramatic moment where the ball leaves the flat plane of the playfield entirely. Catapults add a theatrical, three-dimensional element to playfield design, creating shots where the ball visibly flies through the air before landing on its target. The mechanism rewards the player with a spectacle that ordinary kickers and Vertical Up-Kickers deliver more quietly.
