9-Bank Drop Targets

A Bank Drop Targets configuration with nine Drop Targets in a row — one of the longest standard bank sizes. Nearly always themed around card games, the nine-bank represented a full poker hand or playing card sequence, demanding sustained accuracy across the entire bank. IPDB catalogs approximately 15 machines with this configuration. Gottlieb employed it most often, with Royal Flush (1976) and Spirit of 76 (1975) among the notable examples. Completing a nine-bank was a significant accomplishment, typically awarding large bonuses proportional to the difficulty.
